Q: What is a ModKit?
A: ModKit is an easy yet state-of-art power solution for AA/AAA-battery-powered mice. ModKit uses a Li-ion battery to dramatically reduse weight, and recharges its battery via USB-C/magnetic charging/qi wireless charging. Every part of the ModKit is modular, so you just plugin the modules like Legos. No soldering required. Here is our latest guide on modding the Razer Orochi V2 by using the ModKit.
Q: Is my mouse compatible with the ModKit?
A: Basically any wireless mise that is powered by AA/AAA battery. See the label on the bottom of your mouse for power ratings. If it says 1.5V, then choose ModKit 1.5V version. If it says 3.0V, then choose ModKit 3.0V version. Here's a list of some of the popular AA/AAA-battery-powered wireless gaming mice:

Q: Why do you recommend the Mag Kit over the Entry Kit?
A: Our magnetic charging connector is easier to be placed inside a shell (especially the shell of a wired mouse) because it is shaped like a piece of wire. While with USB-C(Entry Kit) you need to do a lot of cutting and gluing on the shell to make sure that you USB-C port is firm and secured (USB-C connection is tight).
Q: How do I begin my mod (like turn a G305 into a GPW) based on G305 and the ModKit?
A: An easy way to start would be using 3D-printed shells designed for G305 PCB, so you can place your G305 internals inside a new shell/base easily. You can find a lot of G305 3D-printed mods on thingiverse or buy from modders. Our ModKit is not shape/base-specific because it is very tiny and flat, you can stick it onto anywhere easily.
