· Advanced mouse modding made easy - introducing enncoo ModKit, designed for 1.5V or 3.0V (single or double AA/AAA) powered mouse mods (G305, Orochi V2, and more). Comprised of 4 parts.

1) Power Input Options (5V, JST SH1.0 2-pin):

· Entry Kit ($19): USB-C (you need firm fixation of the female USB-C port so not very recommended). 1.0g. Includes 2 types of USB-C female ports (see last pic) for now.

· Mag Kit ($29): Custom magnetic charging system (world's lightest and not-head-heavy). 1.2g. Magnetic charging head for mouse OD 5mm.

· Qi Kit ($29): qi wireless charging (if you have enough space/clearance for it). Extra magnetic shielding cover for placing it under the mouse PCB when needed. 1.2g. Qi coil OD 25mm, Qi PCB 15mm x 10mm.

2) ModKit PCB (MKM-1 V1.0 PCBA 1.5V/3.0V):

· All JST SH1.0 sockets. No soldering required.

· MLCCs from Murata Japan. Inductor from TDK Japan.

· Power efficiency up to 98%.

· 24.7mm x 10.1mm x 0.8-5.3mm (LxWxH)

· 1.0 gram

3) Li-ion Battery (JST SH1.0 3-pin):

· 120mAh / 0.44Wh lithium-ion polymer (updated from 100mAh).

· UL-certified cell.

· Built-in protection IC from Seiko Japan.

· 31.2mm x 11.3mm x 4.0mm (LxWxH).

· 2.8 grams.

· The battery is also compatible with mise that use 3-pin SH1.0 sockets (Razer Viper Ultimate, Asus ROG Keris Wireless and more). But you may need to rearrange pins.

4) Power Output cable (JST SH1.0 2-pin):

· Custom JST SH1.0 to PH2.0 cable for Logitech G305.

· 2-pin SH1.0 male connector provided for Orochi V2 mods (for stock SH1.0 cables).

TL;DR: The most compact, lightweight, and elegant mouse modding kit for pros and beginners alike.

· Note:

IMPORTANT:

Always check "+" and "-" markings on the back before plugging in the wires (see picture 2). You may need to rearranging the pins of other third-party components.

Included wires with blue JST PH2.0 connectors are for G305 mods, not Orochi V2 mods.

For Orochi V2 mods you don't need extra wires. Use existing stock wires.

Simply pull out the two powerlines (top one for "+" and buttom one for "-") from the 10-pin JST connector (unplug connector, lift the connector tabs carefully, and pull out the need wires) on the side-button-PCB, and connect them to the small 2-pin JST SH1.0 connector we provided. And finally plug it onto the VO of the ModKit. Done.

This method is cleaner, without routing the power from side-button-PCB to main-PCB. Just ignore the 2-pin JST connector on the back of the side-button-PCB for AA/AAA battery.

Q: What is a ModKit?

A: ModKit is an easy yet state-of-art power solution for AA/AAA-battery-powered mice. ModKit uses a Li-ion battery to dramatically reduse weight, and recharges its battery via USB-C/magnetic charging/qi wireless charging. Q: Is my mouse compatible with the ModKit?

A: Basically any wireless mise that is powered by AA/AAA battery. See the label on the bottom of your mouse for power ratings. If it says 1.5V, then choose ModKit 1.5V version. If it says 3.0V, then choose ModKit 3.0V version. Here's a list of some of the popular AA/AAA-battery-powered wireless gaming mice:

Q: Why do you recommend the Mag Kit over the Entry Kit?

A: Our magnetic charging connector is easier to be placed inside a shell (especially the shell of a wired mouse) because it is shaped like a piece of wire. While with USB-C(Entry Kit) you need to do a lot of cutting and gluing on the shell to make sure that you USB-C port is firm and secured (USB-C connection is tight).

Q: How do I begin my mod (like turn a G305 into a GPW) based on G305 and the ModKit?

A: An easy way to start would be using 3D-printed shells designed for G305 PCB, so you can place your G305 internals inside a new shell/base easily. You can find a lot of G305 3D-printed mods on thingiverse or buy from modders. Our ModKit is not shape/base-specific because it is very tiny and flat, you can stick it onto anywhere easily.
